Technology and Life.

Monday morning, not much to do so far here at ClickTag. So it is references and reading time.

I came across this post from WIRED, about this guy and his family watching top special fx and interactive games, like AVATAR and XBOX KINECT.

For the couple in this case, like me,... this sort of advancements - special effects, motion tracking, having a video-game that watches you, is still inspiring, and surprisingly awesome.

And to the kids of the guy above, that sort of things are Natural... They have grown on this life, and now I wonder, what could impress then like we are impressed?

Maybe holographic video? or 4d glasses?
I was thinking in other things... like the wonder after a 2hr trek through a hilly mountain and close forest, to get to a hidden waterfall?

Or maybe, the joy of running towards the sea,
and leaving the first steps on the sand for a summer holiday...

I am quite sure most big-city, over 28 workers miss that...

Finally, it came to happen.

I wrote this to a friend last week:

"But living is getting good here. Warm weekends on the park, nice parties whenever wanted, and biking to the offices when there is freelance. This week I am working all days. Will be hard, but great. "

And in the end of the week, besides starting just like described, with a long bank holiday weekend ahead, I signed a 6-months contract, as an international professional.

ClickTag is a fun place, full of ideas, and a cool team to work with. A pool table, darts, videogame, compose the one long table office.

Hope I can manage to work and have fun this times.

summertime....

A great day to begin.

A Monday morning in London,
Early one.
Getting ready to bike 10 miles in the heart of the downtown, and going to work, properly, at a flash magazine project. The day was good for it.

The ride was great, the work began with a small interactive As2 code for a advert in the magazine.
The client actually trusted TalkSport to produce the interactive ad, with audio and video.

Using some libraries, I finished the interactivity with astonishing time, which would take me about 3 days a year ago. So cheers to evoluting in what I think is a path to a higher experience in the digital environment.

After all, It was good to finish the day with some cooking, and music. Pasta with vegetable mix and soya sauce. Music always changing, from reggae roots, dubstep-drum n' bass, ...

Cheers.
